This allows the material to be moulded in any shape by using a method called thermoforming which allows your design options to be endless and seamless. Solid surface countertops are quite soft and can be scratched fairly easily but you can restore it to its original look by using a fine sand paper to buff out blemishes caused by every day kitchen use.
