Door Styles

Ply Panel

Ply panel doors come with a recessed center panel made from 1/4" thick plywood with a 1/16" thick veneer skin applied to front and back to match the cabinet finish.

Fibreboard

Fibreboard doors are a composite wood product that  is made from wood fibers glued together with resin, heat and pressure. The appearance of a raised panel door is created by different router bits.  It will not expand and contract causing joint fractures like solid wood making it ideal for painted finish doors.

Flat Panel

Flat panel doors come with a recessed center panel on a door made from strips of solid wood glued and clamped together. This makes the door a little more sturdy as the inset panel is 3/8" solid wood.

Slab Veneer

​Slab Veneer doors are made with a fibreboard core and a 1/16" thick piece of wood on the outside to create the look of a solid piece of wood. This provides you with an economical yet quality wood feel.

Beaded Panel

​Beaded panel doors come with a solid flat panel that  incorporates a vertical beaded texture into the panel.

Melamine

Melamine doors are made with a particle board core and melamine which is heat sealed into the wood for a durable, scratch resistant, easy to clean finish and is also heat and moisture resistant.. Melamine doors can have matching edge banding or you can select the aluminum edge banding which gives you a more unique look.

Raised Panel

Raised panel doors come with a raised center panel made from strips of wood glued and clamped together.   The raised panel has a profile cut into its edges so that the center portion of the panel is flush with the front of the frame.

Laminate

Laminate doors are made with a particle board core and a decorative laminate veneer to create glossy, textured, or colors you won't find in melamine. Ask us about our endless high pressure laminate options.

Acrylic

​Acrylic doors are made with a fibreboard core and a 1/16" thick piece of acrylic on the outside to create the look of a solid acrylic door. This provides you with a very modern look as well as a fingerprint proof product.
